AAARRRRRGGGGH Won't download HELP!

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi all
First post here. Someone saved my laptop & put Ubuntu on it. I'm not a computer guy so a lot of this has been a learning experienced.
Anyway, I somehow downloaded Audacity but it was suggested to me that LMMS will be more fitting to what I want to do.
Ive been to the dl page on this site but no version seems to work.
Any advice and/or help would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Tommy.

I have just now testet DL, and it works fine from https://lmms.io/download

You need to DL the AppImage for Linux, and follow the instructions about making it a standalone.

Eg

Run chmod +x ~/Downloads
