Sforzando can playback samples, but LMMS cannot

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I downloaded the Standard Guitar vst by Unreal Instruments. I import the "Guitar Chord Central.sfz" program into Sforzando. On the sforzando it can playback the sample, but when i click the piano key on the piano roll in LMMS, nothing plays. Why is this? Also, when I pressed, say for example, a C key, it plays F# sample... a G key, it plays B sample. Basically all of it become jumbled up.

LMMS version: 1.2.2
Sforzando: 1.971
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

On the side note, since I use the "Guitar Chord Central.sfz", so I load the "Standard Guitar KSOP.sfz", then I write the chords by myself by stacking notes above notes. Since I want to go for the indie rock sound, I add a little bit of overdrive, but when it strums, it sounds very noisy like distorted at the tip of the very beginning of the strum. The volume meter never touch red, in fact the volume was in the middle the whole time. Any workaround on this?

You need to have a VST2 version of sforzando inside LMMS. Then you use this VST and load the sfz into that embedded sforzando.
VST usage:

If it is a LMMS issue, it could be that you use a wrong backend.
All Windows versions should use SDL

Hello musikbear thanks for having me!

Yes, I did use the the .dll from the VST2 folder. I can load sforzando into LMMS, and import all sfz file into it. It's just that on the Sforzando's piano roll, I can play the samples, but when I open the LMMS piano roll, the samples were not played upon piano key press.
The program used here is "Guitar Chord Central.sfz"

Yes, I am using SDL as my audio backend.
What I'm asking is when I play a note, it sounds fine... but when I make a chord (stack a note on top of a note), it sounds ugly.
The program used here is "Standard Guitar KSOP.sfz". I will upload an audio file later (because I'm at work right now lol) so you can understand better of my situation. Let me know if you need more information. Thanks for attending to my issue :)

Thanks for attending to my issue
Thank us when its solved :p This one is 'hard'
If i sum up on what i believe you have now, it is this container:
Image
inside lmms 1.2.2' Song-editor with a Sforzando-vst2 dll loaded.
You have a SFX-instrument-file loaded
You have a functional Sforzando-UI
Image
-and when you press a key on the Sforzando-keyboard, you have sound, but if you open the piano-roll for this track, you do not have sound neither when you
*insert a note
*press a key
*replay

if you press this keyboard:

Do you have sound ?
On all instrument buttons there is a 'play-test-button':

Its the darker area, to the left of VOL-dial.
Do you have sound if you press that button?
Have you tried on more projects than one
Please make a test-project, where the only instrument is the Vestige-container, and Sforzando, nothing else.
Have you tried a different SFX-file?

I think I should be apologizing for wasting your time because I accidentally solved it haha!

I was making a test project to reproduce the issue to you. I even record the screen to show you what I was seeing and clicking. Then, I load sforzando and import the sfx file. Clicked all the notes, it doesn't play or was silent. Next, I move the volume slider up and down to show you that volume is not the issue. Lo and behold, the volume slider was at maximum, and the sound suddenly appear!

I was in happy/shock the whole time because I was experiencing this issue for days now. Now I can confirm the samples will be played when the volume is >= 104%.

Thank you, musikbear. If I didn't make a video to show it to someone else, I would never discover the workaround to this issue. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a pop/rock album to make hehe ;)
