I would take a single sine wave in triple oscillator and add some reverb and vibrato. Maybe some bitcrush. While writing the melody in piano roll, it is very important to make pitch bends between each notes.

Which one are you talking about? The distorted square-like one on the bass, or the spooky sine-vibrato one on the upper end of the frequency spectrum?
Eitherways, the bass should be something like this, modify as you see fit, with a bit more distortion and lower harmonics perhaps.
The treble one might be something like this but I haven't listened for long enough to provide an accurate reference. This is more likely to be off than the previous.

Yes Theremin is the instrument to go with, but you also need to use the right notes!
