V2Synth - Popup menu not showing

Hello,

The instruments popup menu of the v2synth (the button at the right of "Edit" should show it) is not showing. It seems some window messages aren't passed correctly to the embedded synthesizer. I've tested this on windows 10 and on arch linux (by running lmms completely in wine). I can't tell about using lmms native on linux, because VST plugins won't load there. The popup menu shows in other DAW software.

I've just tried v2synth on my Win 10 LMMS 1.1.3 and I've come across the same problem. The instruments popup menu isn't showing.

If using the instruments (presets) is your main concern, load up "Farbrausch V2 (single).dll" instead of "Farbrausch V2.dll" and use VeSTige's own preset browser. If I understand this synth's (limited) documentation correctly, the reason why preset changing via host is possible in one dll and not in the other is because of the synth's multi-timbral nature.

In any case, I haven't found a way to bring up the synth's own instruments popup menu, and as you have pointed out that other hosts have no such problem, it may indicate that there's a bug with VeSTige itself.

I just tested this vst on openSUSE 13.1 ( Linux)

I am having the same issue. But calRo's solution also work for me.
