midi imports with wrong tempo and cannot be changed

I have some midi files that I when I import them into LMMS they are set to the wrong tempo, when I attempt to change the tempo in the tempo box, the tempo reverts back to the original tempo. How to I fix this situaltion, how do I make the tempo stay at what I set it to. I am using a nightly version of LMMS on Windows 11 22H2. I suppose a person could use a midi editor like Sekaiju https://openmidiproject.opal.ne.jp/Sekaiju_en.html to fix the tempo, but it would be nice to be able to do it in LMMS.

Yes, that is because MIDI-files has BPM info embedded in the code.
Right-click the BPM-gadget, and in the context-menu, select "Remove-Global-Automation"
That fix it.
