808 making the rest of the beat quiet

Whenever I play hard beats or songs from other people on a tv i got, the mix sounds great, but when I play my beats when the 808 hits it makes the rest of the instruments,drums a little quiet and after the 808 stops playing they get louder. I use on the master the cymatics diablo clipper to make the drums hit cause im aiming for hard trap beats but even if I lower the volume knob of the 808 it still overshoadowing the beat, even at 40% where I can barely hear the 808, and I'm curious if it's the DAW that makes this problem.

That is a normal mixing issue. You need to filter the less important frequencies out of your 808, so it wont cancel-out the frequencies of your other instruments.
