Hello guys. I recently found a Vocaloid called “Hatsune Miku” very popular. And when I tried to listen to her songs, well…. It’s just unbearable. I don’t get it; how is this even popular? What’s the popularity and logic behind them? Why not use Suno (or whatever local), Coqui, or even RVC (for this, you need to sing) if you want to make Miku's voice? Cause how can you even listen to this over high-pitched, non-human vocals?
Just to answer the question, a vocaloid is basically just good old speech synthesis on dope, operating based on a predefined set of algorithms.
AI on the other hand analizes a ton of recordings and tries to replicate the voice based on that.
The rest of your post is just venting that imma ignore now.
Be careful! SUNO has filed lawsuits against some users. It is still a very dodgy 'thing' to use AI, if you did not actually did READ and understood the often ENOURMOUS long EULA for an AI.

Well alot of people love vocaloids, moreso Hatsune Miku, because they love anime waifu's, and husbando's.
