Help Having 2 Versions of LMMS at the Same Time

Hi, I would love some help figuring out how to have two versions of LMMS downloaded so that I can swap between the two to use VSTs. I recently wanted to do this because I learned of DVS Saxophone, which is a 32-bit VST, but I already downloaded the 64-bit LMMS and don't want to continuously install/uninstall one version to use the other. Could someone help me with doing this? I prefer it in the style of step-by-step format so that I don't get too confused on what to do.

Nom that is a misconsumption.
LMMS 64-bit can load all 32-bit VST2s. It is the other way around eg LMMS 32-bit cant load any 64-bit VST2
With 64-bit installed, you can load every VST2
But yes! You can have multiple installations on the same computer, and they can be both completely separated or they can use the same factory files, but in your case 2 installations are not necessary at all.

Some DSK-vsts are made with something called Maise-api. That method library do make a functional VST2, but it does not comply to Steinbergs VST2 protocol!
LMMS is 100% using Steinbergs VST2 protocol, and does not support Maise!
I would be very interested to hear if DVS Saxophone does work in LMMS. I think the dev has abandoned Maise-api long time ago, but please report back : )

Update: The VST works with the current stable version of LMMS. The only thing is that the volume is slightly low, so you'll need to find ways to increase the volume when using it for music.

(You can use LMMS-1.3Alpha, its solid. Do not use Nightly. I think there atm is 6-8 bugs

Is There no Master-vol dial in the VST? If not use LMMS-amplifier and insert it on the FX-tab

An other alternative is the MIDI-base value, but that mess with note velocity and is not a good option
