LMMS icon not in Panel when project is open

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.

I have LMMS 1.3.0-alpha.2 on Linux Mint and it seems to have integrated fine. Shows up in the search menu and stuff. And when I open it without a project loaded I see the LMMS logo in the panel. However, when I load a project that logo turns into the generic gear icon. Is there a way to fix this?

No, i doubt that. It is propl. a glitch in our code. I am not familiar with how Linux make the logical association between a program/ App, and the icon used. Perhaps there is something in a context-menu, but it is not something you can do in LMMS.
You could ask in a Linux-forum.

I'm confused. If it's a glitch in your code, why should I ask in a Linux-forum?

No worries! I'm glad I was brave enough to ask for clarification, that's not always the case.
I will ask around, thank you :)

As a Linux user, I can say to look up how to customize/create "*.desktop" "launch files" or something like that. I've customized a lot of mine on my Linux system. But i'm not any good at explaining the procedure, except to say that it could involve editing text files. But yes, it's possible to creater "launchers" with custom icons. You can also set the icons to be either SVG or PNG files.
