Additions to the Wiki VSTs list
If you have a VST that you would like to see added to the wiki, please list it here.
You need to:
Make sure that the VST passes ALL the points mentioned in section
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... d_problems
If it fails any of the 5 points, you should not add it!

Make sure that is is neither listed here already, or already in the list.

After that has been checked:
write
* the name of the VST
* the category that it fits in the wiki-list
* What OS it runs under
* short description of peculiarities (if any) regarding the installation.
* Add a functional link to a secure download location.

So this is the template you should use:
VSTname:
Category:
myOS:
Specials(optional)
Link:

If you take your time to do this, you can help your community.
If you take your time to create a short-link, you can help me :p

OBS!!!
Please understand that this is about getting the very best LMMS capabale VSTs on the list. This is not about getting a multitude of rather inferior ones. It would much be preferred that we had a list with 50 super VSTs, than a list with 350 somewhat lousy ones.

One category that really is in need of new items, is FX-generating VSTs. Anything that creates sweeps swells pops and more, is missing now.
Nice.
I'll try my best and help too.
(Even though the PC I'm using is not as powerful.)

I definitely agree with you, on that one.
Or as Yu Suzuki said years ago, "Quality over Quantity." 8-)

I've been trying/testing out some Vst's that I've never heard of, for the last couple of weeks.
(Even though the PC I'm using is not as powerful.) :P
Some are free FX type Vst's and Ambient pads Vst's etc. that were really hard to find.
I didn't even know, half of them existed. Lol! :o
I'll post my findings as soon as possible.
I have quite a few vst, I think I should try if I can automate them. ( and if I can save a preset)
With some I do have issues, but that might be simply related to me not having a manual or any understanding about the original synth.
I just tested three vst.

The last one in the exported wave file is my favorite. Minimoog.

But the Cy minimoog works fine too ( still I think that other one is better, or at least the presets are )

Then the SxMJune which is the first synth you hear.
I tried to automate one knob, and save a preset.
OS used 64 bit Linux (openSUSE 13.1)

Minimoog my favorite:

CY freemoog (second synth you hear) it works fine but presets of that above minimoog are much better.

First synth in the exported wave file is this one: SxMJune

Although I can save a preset just fine, there is a minor issue, but I believe this problem is for all vst.
After opening the lmms file again, the name of the preset in the list in vestige return to the first name of the list.
Not the name it should be, but besides this, it works fine.

I also tried again the juno vst, it works but I do not think it rates AAA. Some sounds are even with an added amplifier too soft.

VSTname: Spire_x86_v1.0.16

Category: Commercial VSTs. ******Exceptional harmonics synth*****
myOS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
my computer i7 4860 , gigabyte motherboard, on board soundcard

Specials(optional): Installed into it's own folder in my VST chosen folder. only 32bit version works, can't get any 64VST to work on LMMS.

Link: http://tinyurl.com/jyvjepq
Note: Setup.exe file scans as having "PUA.Win.Trojan.Casino-141", but clamtrck sorted it out, has left no trace in my wine folder or install folders

Everything works, everything loads, everything saves. Native VST knobs work smooth & well, and LMMS linked wrench knobs automate link perfectly to all nuances I have tried. Once loaded etc, doesn't crash. This is an exceptional high quality synth, excellent for harmonic leads & melodies. Also great for bass. Really versatile & easily tweaked. I have used up to 8-10 loaded at once, works perfect
That link looks like it may be an old cracked, i.e. stolen, version of Spire. The genuine commercial version is available from http://www.reveal-sound.com/

Any idea if the legal version works with LMMS ?

I am wondering the same, was going to buy it next payday actually , I hope I can afford it :) The new version hasmany updates, patches from it wont load on the older version.

It is still the most bug free VST I have used on LMMS
