Distorted Audio

Hello, I am having some serious troubles with LMMS. One of my troubles is the distorted sound LMMS regularly produces. For example the sound being produced by really any of the 'instruments' under the 'shapes' subtab of the 'my samples' tab is just non-existent or short or distorted or a mix of those. I have Looked and seen the SDL and Buffer Size remedies, but neither one of those seem to change anything.
I was curious if you intelligent individuals could help out a fellow music maker with this new foreign software. Thank you for your time and help.
Running: Win10, LMMS 1.1.3

Do the more normal instruments e.g under the instruments or latin subtabs play correctly ?
I think you're probably falling over the fact that those "shapes" are intended to be looped in AudioFileProcessor...if you don't set the looping you only get a very short couple of cycles which doesn't sound like anything.
But most of those sort of sounds are probably easier to make and play with the normal synths like Triple Osc anyway.

Steve is correct, those samples are extremely short, and they are meant to be like that! You can see why in this video

And it also shows you how to create a instrument with those samples, and any of your own.
