Hi everybody,
is there a (downloadable) setup or example song to get started with a Metal/Hardcore/Metalcore/Deathmetal song easily?
Something like this, expecially with such a guitar sound:

That one in the LinuxMusicMaker.com video sounds very close to a real metal guitar sound. I wish he/she would post a tutorial on it. It even has really good palm muted sounds, too.
I'm in the process of trying to write some metal songs & I keep thinking I need to wait until I have a guitar. Mostly because I feel like I write better fiddling with a guitar than with a keyboard. I can visualize notes & chords better on guitar. Maybe that's from having some formal guitar training & no piano training at all.

Cool!
That is one rockin cool preset dude!
And it's so super close to the real thing.
I'll definitely try it out, when the time comes.
PS: I've been struggling to make a rock guitar sound in Synth 1 and Triple Oscillator.
Now I'm motivated to try again. Yay!

Hi, thanks, I tried your preset but I can´t really make it sound like the one in the youtube-video.
I´m a total newbie to LMMS ...
I tried putting some notes into the piano roll but ... well, does not really sound like a guitar, can somebody hint me to what is needed to let it make a similar sound to that on the video?
Thanks!!
