I have had LMMS for a while and it worked fine. Until recently It gave me the option the choose the sound output. I sellected the device and restarted the program. The option came up again. And no sound is coming out. Not sure what's wrong.

I'm using Windows 7 x32.

Your problem is known, just would i like to know what induced it.

Did you make some changes on your folder/path/file-structure on the pc?

The reason for the problem is that the content of a configuration file, no longer match the actual disk-structure.
This is how to get rid of the problem:

Close lmms
Make sure nothing is running in the background in your 'task-manager'
If you do not know how to use TM, restart your pc.
In your
'Documents and Settings'
(or similar)
you have a file
.lmmsrc.xml
Observe the dot.
Use the search-tool, to find this file.
You cant rename this file, but you can move it!
Move it to one of the folders you have there - (like 'plugins')
Now restart lmms
You should be now asked to enter new settings, and these settings should be persistent.
If this fails, you can upload your .lmmsrc.xml, and we will take a look on it
