LMMS Midi-Output on ALSA or Jack

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi,

LMMS looks as the best solution for my Linux-system, but i am somehow unsattisfied with the amount of instruments.
I have plenty of Synths on my system, all are accessable by either Alsa-.Midi oder Jack-Midi, but i didn't find a way to get a Midi-Port viewable in my Jack-Patchage to connect it with external soft synths. Any hints?
I am on linux but I don't understand the question.

If its just me you can ignore this reply.

What I do know you set lmms to use jack or alsa (or pusle audio)

Under edit, settings, and then click the speaker icon.

No idea if you can use external synths through jack with lmms. I hope somebody else will jump in.
Sounds very interesting if possible.
I have already been thinking of a way to use amsynth with lmms, ( if possible)
Hi,

thanks for the answer.

To make it a bit clearer what i am searching for:

Its possible to put Lmms into a Jack-equipment as an audio-source. But Lmms does not create any midiports that are reconized by my jack-server. My Jack-environment can handle jack-midi and alsa-midi-ports, and i have tools inside to convert one to the other.

It is possible to choose the midi-settings in Lmms and tell it to use either Alsa swq or Alsa raw as Midi-driver, but it does not create a port in my Jack-environment.

How to do this? Is it possible, or am i searching for something that is impossible (yet)?

Thanks a lot for your answers.
