Hey everybody!

I've been a musician for a while, but it's only today that I've decided to use a daw, in the form of lmms, to try and learn how to produce some beats, edm and what not.

Anyway, I downloaded the software, watched a few of Cubician's tutorials, and then played around for an hour or two.

This is what came out of it - https://soundcloud.com/user-78814397/me ... ntro-thing

I'd really appreciate some feedback.

Thanks, Ads.
I absolutely love the melody and beat.

Still a test, but I believe you can go somewhere with this.

My only problem is the Pizzicato you used. It kind of throws off the melody.
I like it its a good start.
This sounds really nice.
I like the melody.

PS: The synth sound you used, kinda reminds me a bit, of the one used in the ATC - All Around The World (la la la la la la la la) music track.

I like that you use various instruments and the nice break-beat. You also have fine balance, and controlled loudness. Some melodic variations, and you have a good track
Wow, thanks for all the kind words, feedback and welcomes. Such a great community! I'm suddenly really inspired to turn this track into something great. <3

Brandy, I went back and listened to Around The World and you are completely right! Hahaha!
Damn this has good melody potential...i could imagine a few notes here there

good job and welcome to the community ;)
This is a pretty good beginner track. :D
