saturated , distorded sound : new user

hi, I am french sorry for the broken english
i just load LMMS yesterday, and have a look...but it seem to be impossible to have something else than a kind of noise as if the real sound was very saturated...for demo for any instruments etc.. I tried change output vol , for part or /and general ....I tried one channel after another...
my computer is not big:
celeron 450 2.2GHz
1Go ram
intel express chipset
Windows XP SP3
realteck soundcart or M audio delta serie sound card = all the same

Its great that it 'works' now, but i suspect it is only temporary, but that is easy to fix.
You have described the most common 'problem' users have with LMMS :)

You have a fully sufficient pc, in fact its just like mine :p, but there is one tiny thing that you need to do:

yes , that the way I did, because i tried every thing that can be change and looked at the result.
just now I sequenced a concerto for obeo , I played on the guitar..enjoy!!
