Trying to understand how the lmms delay works

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Well while trying I also made this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xit8d3E3aGI

But it's not the point here.

Now, from what I see, you need to use the delay fx in a channel in which the original signal is sent.

So, Signal goes to FX1 (dry), FX1 sends to FX2, FX2 has delay (wet)

But what about the built in LFO? Is it an amplitude LFO?

I cant see what LFO has to do with delay?
LMMS default LFO (tab ENV/LFO) has separate LFOs for both AMP cutoff and resonance, but it that what you ask?

Are you talking about any particular one of the 20+ delay effects that come with LMMS ? I can't say I've noticed one with a built in LFO.

Or do you mean some other LFO ?

Steve
Sorry, I'm talking about the native delay for lmms.
Its name is "Delay".

I think I understood it...

It's a "speed" changer.

Lfo controls the "amount" of seconds to squeeze/stretch, while Rate controls how quickly the effects changes from squeezing to stretching...

It's a tape recorder delay then. Now i see
Well worked out. That really does make some strange noises. I guess it must be good for something but I can't imagine using it myself.
