Plug Ins and VST

I am kind of unsure how to use VSTs but I kind of have an idea. I go to Vestige, then I click on the folder icon to add a downloaded VST to Vestige but nothing comes up. On LMMS the file that all of my VSTs are in don't come up as if the file is empty, but clearly it isn't when I check the file on my Windows File Explorer. Please help, thanks.

Lets see here.
1) Try going into the Settings menu and re route the Vst Plugin directory, to the Vst folder, that you are using/made which contains all of your Vst dll's.

2) Close Lmms then restart Lmms, so that the changes for the settings will have effect.

3) Open Vestige and see what happens from there.

PS: Also, check and see if you have any odd symbols (eg. # or % etc.) in the settings menu's folder paths.
Sometimes, those things have been known to mess up alot of Lmms functionalities, especially the sound.
