got no beats in my samples ? i want to make dubstep

hello guys im pretty new to lmms since today but when i try to put in a beat from sample its completly empty/blank please someone help me out

is this about some beat-loops you have from a 3. party?
The lmms supported samples are either ogg-forbis or wave (uncompressed), you can not use mp3.
If you have issues with samples in general i recommend you to read the chapter 'working with samples'
