I'm working on an Arabian track. I go into the piano roll, change the scale to Arabic, but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry that one make me laugh, really :)
My warped humor made me imagine how you expect some wild crazy Arabic stuff to happen, like a button for a minaret or an demand for only using lmms on the floor - sorry :p

Nooo using the scale tool need you to select the key of the scale on the keyboard, after you have selected the scale :
Right-click the key, and choose Mark-current-scale
Then you get all notes shaded, that does belong the scale in that key
