TAL Vocoder in LMMS!

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello, all! So recently, I've been on a hunt for a good vocoder, and after a long time going through lists and watching reviews, I came upon the TAL Vocoder VST. According to reviews, it's a very good plugin, especially in consideration that it is free, as well!

I am having a terrible issue with it though. The plugin works as in effect very well, but does not seem to be able to process the audio if it is just being used in a sample's Effects Chain. In Ableton and Cubase tutorials, the plugin is set up in a way that connects the sample's output to it so that the sound is processed through the VST. My question is, how can I do that in LMMS?

I use version 1.1.90 (prerelease), so I have the most current features available to me as of right now. Thank you for your time!

I have not tried TAL-vocoder, but the shipped 'vocoder for lmms' is easy to use, and can give good results, but try and set your TAL-vocoder up the same way :

* insert the sound-sample in a AFP-instrument

* route this to FX1
* insert your carrier as any note-playing instrument, fi. use 3OC
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=TripleOscillator
* route this to FX1

* Open mixer, and insert your vocoder as a FX-insert on FX1

This setup works perfect with 'vocoder for lmms', and maby it will also work with your TAL-vocoder. Let us know
Alternately, you could use Kerovee, I've had some fun with it, and it comes with some pretty decent presets http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/kerovee.html
