so i want to add more sounds like presets or samples from anywhere really but for right now from lmms sharing but lmms says i need to have a different software to change it to the right format? does anyone know what software nd how to do this cuz lmms ran out of sounds i like and i just want to keep making more but i cant without help. please

The first thing you really should do is to remove your email from your login-name.
You will be a target for spiders, that crawl the net, only to collect emails. So thats just a friendly pointer :)

Lmms can use a LOT of sound-formats -In fact the only well known that lmms does -not- support is MP3!

And its my (wild) guess that you have samples in mp3 and want to convert? You can use a great other free program for that:
Audacity

But there is something you need to know about mp3!
mp3 is asc lossy-formate It means that when the sound was recorded, it was automatically compressed, and in that process, frequencies are lost!
Wave is a loss-less formate, and thats why wave samples are much bigger that mp3. In lmms we use ogg-forbis as our lossy formate, and wave as the loss-less.
