Templates

Does anybody use templates? Does it help you in your creativity and production? How do you use them?

well, i have some templates i use for tests and bug finding, but you can use templates as a kind of 'foundation' for genres. You may find and insert a complete instrument and percussion 'packages' that is perfect for acoustic jazz, and another template that has all the basic sounds for House, but template as such are not different from 'project-models', so its kind of a question of temperament, how or if you like to have 'molds' for your work

Nice. I like to use templates a lot on other stuff. Ie ardour, IDJC, etc for my podcasts. I think saves time doing the mundane stuff. I can see how it would help with the creativity aspect. Especilly if one is unfimiliar with a genre.
