LMMS Mallets

Hello,
I have been testing out different ways of creating music and tunes. I have watched many video tutorials, which they
use an instrument plugin, that came with LMMS, called "Mallets" I drag it over and try to play some note and experiment,
only when i try to play a note, LMMS doesnt play a sound and crashed.
LMMS Version: Version 1.1.90 (win32/x86_64, Qt 4.8.7, GCC 4.9.4 20150716 (prerelease))

Wooah! Now that is a strange problem.
I suggest installing Lmms 1.1.3, which is the latest official version so far.
And see what happens from there.

yup, mallet has an issue.
If you install 1.1.3 you should be able to use mallets, but it will still not work perfect. afair some settings creates noice, but it wont crash
Mallets is one of the oldest plugins, you can find significant better sounds in Synth1 preset packs, just search the net, for the type of instrument you are looking for

This specific crash was on Windows machines only and is fixed but not yet released. Grab the next RC build when it's done.
