Midi Keyboard has connected, but does not work

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I have a Motif XF8. I have downloaded the proper drivers to connect it to my computer, (Windows 7, 64 bit OS) via USB. However, when I set up the Midi input in LMMS (green light and I select it of the drop down menu), and play the keyboard, no sound or note is registered in the software. I am not sure what to do, Advice would be appreciated.

Thank you very much, Penghee

Edit - Spelling
You should read https://lmms.io/documentation/Using_MIDI and connect up like that to a track with an instrument on. Which instrument are you using ? Triple Oscillator ? If you use the little keyboard at the bottom of the instrument screen do you get any sounds ?

That keyboard should always work and provided "green light" means the green bar to the left of Volume on the track is flashing when you play the XF8 then the MIDI is getting through. Unless you have Volume turned right down you should hear something. What is the Audio Interface in Edit/Settings set to ? SDL usually works best for Windows.
