Bug Report for v 1.1.90

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
When there's an empty Vestige track loaded in the Song Editor, you have to mute that empty track; otherwise, massive distortion-noise is added to any other instrument you might be playing. This occurred in none of the previous versions I've used (going back to v 0.9.90).

Thanks
I do however need to understand what you mean by 'Empty Vestige track'
Could you upload the failing project (as mmp), so i can inspect it
Actually, it happens any time you add Vestige to any project, without loading an instrument into Vestige. Try it yourself. Load 3-osc and Organic, for example, get a little tune playing in both of those instruments, or either one of them, then slide Vestige over into the Song Editor to create a Vestige track.

When I do that in v1.1.90, I immediately hear horrible loud distorted noise added to the tune that's playing in the other two instruments.

But then, if I load any instrument into Vestige, the noise immediately disappears.

This issue has never occurred in any previous versions of LMMS, on any of my computers, whether Windows 7 or XP.

Ok that was sufficient for me to reproduce this wrong behaviour.
I think the reason for this bug never been reported before, is that the bug indeed only occur if the VST-stub has no dll loaded.
It goes away emediately, if a dll is loaded.
Good discovery!
I will write a detailed bug-report
Thank you!
