need help making a specific sound!

Hi! i'm kinda new to lmms, i know my way around it and how to make music ect but i'm kinda new to the whole music making scene.


anyway, onto my question, can anyone show me how to make a sound similar to the one in this song?
(i'm fine if it uses zynaddsubfx or whatever, but you'd have to go more in depth with your explanations.)

anyway, onto my question

The long notes are a serious fm-distorted low frequency saw.
That is not the simplest thing to make..
FM-syntesis is a bit of hit&miss, and a lot of tinkeling is often needed.
In this particular example i would guess Massive or maby Sytrus, both high-end and expensive instruments, and not suited for lmms.

But 'we' have Synth1!
I would go with Synth1- but do not expect exactly the same as in the song. Nobody can achieve that, because synthesis is simply not copyable !

well i'm okay using synth1, that's a lot simpler than zynnaddsubfx, so i guess i'll have a go then see what i come up with, thanks
