Instruments Blend Together When Adding More then 2

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I just started using LMMS and it is a fantastic program, but there is one issue i am having with it. I installed the DSK Overtune instrument set and they work great, but when I add more then one instrument, they will somewhat blend together for some strange reason.

Like, when I add one instrument, it is fine. But when I add another it will start to blend and I do not want that. I want them to be separate instruments.

I don't know what to do because it get kind of annoying, but hopefully I can figure it out. If anyone could help me with this issue, I's be most grateful.

the DSK OvertuRe instrument set : will somewhat blend together
: it will start to blend
Do you mean like the frequencies are blurred and does 'fight' ?

perhaps make a audio-file, and upload on soundcloud, then its more understandable

Hello and welcome. :D

Okay, so you're using 2 different sounds here.
Is it possible, for you to upload a short audio clip of the track, on youtube or other audio site
so we could hear, how this blending of instruments sounds? :D
Here is the pic of what is happening

I have the 2 melodies in the same layer of the beat+bassline editor, but I want Melody 2 to be separate in the song editor, for some reason, it will combine both of them on one layer and when I create another later in the song editor for melody 2, its not letting me put anything in there.
Okay. I think I understand what is going on now.
In the song editor, Beat/Bassline tabs, are like containers.

We are going to assign each melody, to a separate Beat/Bassline tab, in the song editor.

1) In the Song Editor, click on the words Beat/Bassline 0. Since both synths are assigned to it.

2) Now, go to the Beat+Bassline Editor and on Melody 2, Right click on the blue bar with all of the notes and select copy.

3) Head back to the Song Editor, press on the word, Beat/Bassline 1.
Doing this, selects the Beat/Bassline 1 layer only.

4) Go to the Beat+Bassline Editor and paste the notes, into the black and grey blocks
located on the right hand side, of Melody 2.

5) Now in the Song Editor, press the word Beat/Bassline 0.

6) Go to Melody 2, right click on it and select remove notes.

Doing that will make the Beat/Bassline 0, play Melody.
And Beat/Bassline 1, play Melody 2.
Suggestion: To make things a bit easier, my suggestion, is to place Vestige/Vst's and plugins in the Song Editor
and not in the Beat+Bassline editor.
Putting them in the Song Editor, automatically makes each synth and melody, separate from each other.

Since you have both Vestige plugins, located in the Beat+Bass Editor. You can drag the plugins, into the Song Editor.
An easy way to do this, is to go to the Beat+Bassline Editor and hold Ctrl and left click and hold on the dots located to the left of Melody and drag the whole tab into, into the Song Editor.
Your plugin and melody is now in the song editor.

Do the same for Melody 2. :)
Sorry for the late reply, but i got it to work. thanks a ton. Now my stuff is very organized now:)
