Hi! I am JoeReMi and also trying to figure out LMMS. It is a wonderful project but still a bit rough around the edges. I think I would mostly like to join this forum to make some suggestions for improvement (though I realize that chances are they won't be implemented 
)

That is not so. I would say that 1/3 of features in LMMS is made after suggestions from users. Exactly that LMMS is user-driven is what differentiates us from the commercial DAWs, where user ideas are rarely implemented.

Just follow the instructions and be precise and descriptive.
OBS! We do ask you to make a search on the page to make sure that your idea is not already suggested before, because there are no reason for repeating already existing request.
Also: Atm we are in feature-freeze, because we are preparing a new release, but that does not mean we are not welcoming new ideas, they will just not be allocated to implementation before the freeze is over : )
