hello everyone, i just found this website today and i want to ask your guys experience with this and if its a good site. i want to try making vocaloid ish songs and any starter advice! thanks!

Back to your question about " making vocaloid ish songs ".
The best you can do is Link to a specific video or soundclip, and add exact timestamps, for where the wanted sound starts, and less important -ends
then add a timestamp here
Like @2:32 -> 2:55.
On youTube You can btw click stop the video, right-click and choose to save the link at the specific time!

No, to be honest. This forum genuinely has been getting worse and worse since I joined roughly 7 years ago. It's full of AI spam since moderation isn't a thing anymore. Ask anything even just a tiny bit involved and you will just get even more confused after seeing the "answers". My account here was hacked once.
LMMS itself as a program is very powerful and I can recommend it to everyone. But for a forum, forget this place, go to linuxmusicians.com or something more serious. Please i beg you all.

Aua.. thats one over my snout. I do come here once a day and clean things up, kill bots, ban spammers and mopup crawlers. After that i do attempt to answers all questions or similar, but we have capacity issues that make logon-success kind of random..
It goes for forum, and also for LSP. We have been promised more storage, so we hope that things will be better.
I think forgetting forum would be a wrong thing to do. There is a lot of combined knowledge here.
