USB Keyboard controller not working...

So i was going to try the Carbon 49 with lmms. So I locked up how to use a MIDI controller keyboard with lmms. I followed the steps and lmms finds my keyborad but it doesn't work. I don't know if it's the Carbon 49 or lmms that has a problem. Can anybody help me with this problem?

This may help https://lmms.io/documentation/Using_MIDI You can click the gear icon beside the vst name in the song editor. (midi-> input-> select your controller)

Seems it will have to be done for each vst to change. It dose not change automatically.

It will help if you post your OS (and servicepack)
Does you have full and normal output from LMMS if you only hit your pc-kb?
