- This very song is an example of most of what you can do.
- Pitch bends are allowed (Master pitch bend is not allowed)
- Your entry will not be accepted if it is a remix of this.
- You can use either a number of 4 or 8 chords in your set through the whole song.
- As I did with the 3Osc Bass and 3Osc FM Bass, you can use either the top, middle, or (not and) bottom of the chord set.
- Maximum notes in each chord is 5.
- If you use more than 3, you must use either the top OR bottom of the chord is using single note.
- Minimum song length is 2:30.
- I will choose at least 3 songs to be remixed.
- If you see your song remixed, then you know that you have won the challenge.
- Song rating will not matter, so any entry can win.
- The maximum number of entries is 3.
- Only one of your entries will be picked, but doing more than 1 will raise the chance of being picked.

FOR MULTI-GENRE ENTRIES:
- Please specify the genres used (For example, his one is D'n'B, Chipstep, House, somewhat Dubstep).
- If you are using dubstep, be sure to include a very noticeable drop.

Comments:
"You must use only a set of 4 chords" Sounds like an average song here on LSP P sure that most mainstream shit only uses like 4 chords or at the very least the songs CAN BE PLAYED using 4 chords Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pidokakU4I "You can use either a number of 4 or 8 chords in your set through the whole song" So is it 4 or 8 ?! "As I did with the 3Osc Bass and 3Osc FM Bass, you can use either the top, middle, or (not and) bottom of the chord set Maximum notes in each chord is 5. If you use more than 3, you must use either the top OR bottom of the chord is using single note." Sounds like an average song here on LSP IMO it's nice to limit the tools an artist can use so that they have to come up with some creative solutions to create their melody, but this is kinda weird... What I'm gathering from this is that you want people to make their song interesting even tho the harmony is super simplistic. And I guess that the artist is also forced to do some interesting sound design to make things interesting. Now what is weird about this is that you have only limited the bass and the chords... Why wouldn't you limit the amount of notes used in a melody or what kind of notes they can use? That would truly force people to make something interesting. Right now this challenge is in a strange place where you've added some random ass limitations that aren't really even a big deal. This challenge doesn't really have an identity. It's unclear what you want from people. Usually the challenges over here have been something where you can only use a certain synth. Those are an example of a good challenge. The producer immediately knows what to do and it is an actually CHALLENGE not a random set of rules. Posted by: Squatro  on 2017-03-05 11:21:57
glad to see i am not the only one that could not make much coffee of the demands in this challenge;-) Posted by: warrior13  on 2017-03-05 12:15:08
I've also got a great challenge: you can only use the major scale. I know, pretty rad. Posted by: Squatro  on 2017-03-05 12:43:03
