Some precisions. To make a whip, consider this elements :

1) You need some noise (pur white or in association with other waveforms);

2) You need to activate a bandpass filter (you can try with other type of filtre, but the result is not certain);

3) You have to choose a cutoff frequency [the FREQ knob] (not too high or too low);

4) You have to adjust the resonance factor [the RESO knob];

5) And, verry important, you have to activate the cutoff envelope [the AMT knob] and define his values [the DAHDSR knobs].


I recommend you to start by cloning the instrument and playing with the various parameters mentioned above.
Do not hesitate to enrich it by adding different effects.
