Name: TOUGH DECISIONS REMIX.mmpz | Download |
Description: This is a remix of an older song, which isn't shared. The song is a lot better than the original, but doesn't quite match it in style. I will post the original eventually, but I don't have a copy on my main PC. I have also remixed this remix, and that is also available here on the sharing platform.

Man for some reason this really reminds me of RuneScape haha. But seriously, excellent work! Kinda 8-bit. I like it. Posted by: Zakarra on 2011-03-06 14:31:54

I like the melody, but not the instruments choosen to play it. I'd replaced the bells with something else. The melody is nice and well-constructed, same thing for the beats. I loved it, just needs tweaking and better choice of instruments. About the Automation. Put an Automation track on the Song-editor by clicking on the button "Add Automation track". Once it's there, hold Ctrl and drag/drop some control into the automation track (it can be almost everything, the master volume, the master pitch, the wet/dry mix of an effect, the tempo... almost everything can be automated). Once it's there, double click on the automation you just opened and fool around with the controls. Once you are done, close the automation editor and play the song. The control you automated will change when the song reach the start of the automation you opened (for example, if you automated the volume and the song reachs the start of the automation, the volume will change according to what you did while editing). The Wiki of LMMS has more tips on how to use automation; I learned how to use it there. Posted by: Yure16 on 2011-03-06 22:43:53
Thanks for all the input, and no, I am not someone called "Jake" or whoever it was. I am Jim, the sole member of the Electric Muffins, and I only just found out that LMMS had a sharing platform. Thanks for the tip on automation, and no, I hadn't figured it out from the wiki, but once again, the 8-bit sound and instruments are from the original song, which was one of my first, and maybe best. I am about to upload it, so keep an eye out! Posted by: jimmydean886 on 2011-03-20 13:03:25
Yure, for your sake, I am going to change the instruments, and change a few other things. Thanks for the input! Posted by: jimmydean886 on 2011-03-20 16:57:18
By the way, anyone have a genre they might give this song? thanks! Posted by: jimmydean886 on 2011-03-20 17:22:23 |
