Description:

I'm happy to bring my newest track -- an electro house tune that I'm pretty proud of. Again, a bit of a foray into a new genre and I think it turned out well.

Some of you will be very excited that I only used two inconsequential samples that aren't in the LMMS library so everything should work great when downloaded without needing extras. If you do want those two percussion samples they're in Hydrogen Drumkits for LMMS.

Please. Rate/Comment. It's always very appreciated. Enjoy!

Fast Lookahead Limiter woul make thnigs smooth. Posted by: Yure16  on 2011-03-16 00:35:09
Yure, I don't like to put a limiter on the master bus because it really messes with the mix, basically setting different levels at different times. At least I'm assuming that's what you mean. Posted by: Zakarra  on 2011-03-16 02:33:05
Hi Zakarra, really nice piece again... didn't like your last one Spectrum (Hands Up Mix) but this one is again one of my favorites. But defintely in need of better mixing & mastering, unfortunately i can't help out on this because of lacking skills and know-how. Anyway, keep up the good work! As far as mixing and mastering goes, any suggestions? What sounds wrong? Posted by: Zakarra  on 2011-03-16 22:28:24
Good job, man! You are really master of LMMS! Posted by: bas  on 2011-03-17 01:38:34
i recommend adding more. it feels a bit empty with so few instruments and melodies. Posted by: cacowad  on 2011-03-18 00:02:21
Hi Zakarra, you should post your project on a forum e.g. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=62 and ask for feedback. There are some helpful and skilled people. I appreciate your work and it's already good but you can improve it even more. IMO the part when the melody kicks in sounds a little too distorted and therefor "rough". And if you listen at 2.45 the bass needs some reworking/mixing. I also tried to put a limiter on the master and yes it didn't work. When I got time I'll try to do a (re)mix and add some here and there... Posted by: CapDan  on 2011-03-18 11:15:57
Great work! Very well done, i would even go so far as to say "dopesauce". But for the odd moment where it feels like there is some unintentional distortion, maybe add an EQ on the instrument, then use an automation track or 2 to place adjustments with the EQ? Good stuff, i gave it 4 stars. Posted by: Xendojo  on 2011-03-29 18:17:11
Hope you don't mind if I use the porgamento bass beat for my song. Posted by: Biofreak  on 2011-05-05 00:14:09
Could I upload it on youtube? Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLug82k0LLI Posted by: TheWhiteChocolat  on 2011-09-07 09:48:47
Absolutely amazing! Definitely one of your best. I've noticed whenever you use a portamento bass, good things happen. Posted by: Douglas  on 2016-09-21 00:38:24
