DUBSTEP

Yay, I have said to myself yesterday: "I gotta make some dubstep as soon as I get home after the party and get some sleep". I got home, got 18 hours of sleep, made dubstep :D

ENJOY!

I release this for educational purposes, and to show you how brilliant I am ;) (and to inspire you to get even more brilliant by yourself)

So dub your step to this!

It's 100% synthesis, no samples used. It's all ZynAddSubFX that I have programmed from scrach by myself.

That's a nice demonstration of what can ZASFX do, and how to make drums, bases and other stuff with it.

There is already some nice music made with LMMS, so enjoy :)

Very nice! But why do I get many errors when I load it? I also don't hear the dubstep sub bass at the beginning. I like how you used the zynaddsubfx very nicely. I still don't understand how each note of one instrument can make a different sound completely O_o As for the music, I just wished there were less empty-ish places, but I guess that's the style you might have wanted. Thanks for your comment, Teeteejay :) Errors might by caused by the fact you're missing some audio plugins (and automaticall this makes the track sound different than desired, because the processing is incomplete). If you're using Linux (e.g Ubuntu) make sure you have a metapackage named "ubuntustudio-audio-plugins". If you're on windows, well... I don't really know how to get those :( The best you can do (if you want to have all plugins) is to download KXStudio linux distro (this is what I use right now). You can install it on a USB drive and boot your computer from it without even touching your hard drive (so it's safe) ;) Posted by: unfa  on 2011-04-15 12:47:01

After I loaded this and I tried to load another song LMMS stopped responding and now whenever I try to open it it automatically loads your song and it doesn't respond whenever I try to load another song D:< Posted by: Race Pro Kid  on 2011-06-20 05:26:34
