i just started using lmms, or any recording software, like two days ago. In fact I just got Ubuntu the same day. I know this isn't very good but I'm figuring it out. I don't know how to open any of the files here on lmms, though. I can't access in lmms (don't know how), and I tried different ways in soundconverter, VLC, and audacitiy but can't do it. Hey Matt, to open the songs here in LMMS you need to first download one, and then right click on the downloaded file (in the file manager) and select "Open with" -> "Other application" and then in the "Custom command" field of the pop-up put in 'lmms' (without the quotes), make sure the "Remember this application..." box IS ticked and click "Open". Now whenever you download an MMPZ file (lmms file), you can just double-click on it and it will open up in LMMS. =) Hope this helps! Posted by: socceroos  on 2011-06-10 14:33:48
