I like a lot NiftySardine version but I just wanted a slow version at 126 BPM, that is the reason that I did this new Mix, plus, I think that d5 chords are given an extra flavor to the sound :D The mix and remix possibilities are endless, by relistening this version another idea just pop into my mind. To be honest i feel inferior after getting a remix lol. Posted by: Dr_Green  on 2025-01-09 01:25:59
lol, I feel a bit out of my league too when I see you all doing such incredible things. I'm just messing around with LMMS for fun and don’t really know much about music theory. Sometimes a song really grabs me, and that's when I dive into making remixes. Posted by: mpxvm  on 2025-01-09 13:27:29
Man, i don't know about music theory neither and we're still making really fire masterpieces, we probally will use music theory later... idk... who knows hehehehaw. Posted by: Dr_Green  on 2025-01-09 23:38:20
I like the slower tempo and the way you spiced up the drop! Posted by: NiftySardine  on 2025-01-12 12:32:16
It's tough to nail down the right tempo. The original version felt way too fast for me, and jumping down to 126 BPM seems now a bit too slow. My brain operates in a quirky way; I often hear songs in lower keys than they actually are. For instance, when I think back to a song, my mind automatically pitches it down compared to the original. Plus, I can listen to the same track at different times in a day and feel like the BPM has changed. I worked on cranking up the intensity of the dubstep drop by using some community presets. I aimed to make it hit harder, but I know I need to keep practicing my song construction skills. Adding more iterations or tweaking the sessions could really amp up the output until it starts to sound like a total EDM banger. Posted by: mpxvm  on 2025-01-12 20:55:48
