Thanks Dr Green, I wanted to make something a bit different instead of music based on chords as a lot of the old music that I listened to was written or contained parts using monosynths. I started with some chords on no particular scale that sounded ok together, cut back to notes, and shuffled the notes a bit until it sounded right.
