Description:

Another happy accident. I'm really pleased that this sound came together, but I have to admit that I can see a lot of influences from the past in this track, and it's not just coincidence. I grew up with MTV Partyzone, loving the best dance electronic rave tracks from the 90s.

This is what I hear when I listen to my track:
- the ecstatic rave scene of the 90s, particularly the early tracks by The Prodigy
- the incredible energy of Aphex Twin's drums beats
- the throwback dance vibe of The Orbital
- style of the tune from the Matrix movie track "Clubbed to Death"

The 90s were like a learning experience for me; everything I heard back then got stored in my brain in some way, and a lot of what I create is influenced by that era.

And of course, let's not forget, this song came to life thanks to the LMMS community and all the synth presets that everyone shares within it.

I'm super excited to be part of this community.

Cheers!

Wow so you literally recycled all other LMMS Comunity instruments edits and it looks like my StrangeSynths are in this music with good mixes... Wonderful Job this time! Posted by: Dr_Green  on 2025-06-04 19:52:22
I actually have 1514 presets from LMMS community on my local presets folder, downloaded in the past year. Besides that I have another set of presets variations, approximately 600, which I've made by extra tweaking the pre-existing presets. When I do a song, I can search fast through presets directory and quickly match or discover what I need. This approach saves me a lot of time when shaping a new song. It took me approx. 2 hours to make this track and the song concept idea rely on drums, it all started from Beat+Bassline Editor. After making the Beat, the piano riff came to my mind and after that the Bass line. So, was like a reactive creative process. And yes, I have used 2 presets from your Nightly Silence track :D Posted by: mpxvm  on 2025-06-05 05:17:59
