The archievements of last month are huge steps for me and my sound because it is really difficult to find pleasureble FOSS created tracks online. Fast rythm is found in every genre I listen to and to implement this is in my own production gives me a calming satisfying feeling while listen to it.
I'm aware of being far away from what professional electronic techno and similar EDM is but any new piece opens the oportunity to get closer to my goal.
My aiming will be focused next to a qualitive arrangement of beats to gain some structure inside every new song. Also to have some melodic parts between fast basslines combining pad, string, bells and anything that creates beautiful or at least harmonic melodies.
There is a high chance my sound will stay minimalistic like it is now but hopefully the overall quality of mixing and maybe mastering will give it a more experienced touch.
Most producers have 10+ years of experience but using expensive hard- and software. LMMS is my DAW of choice since 2023 because it is a easy to access DAW without the overconsumption of buyable software and samples from the economic music industry. Maybe it is not even the goal from LMMS to place a track on Number One charts but if you can use a native plugin and synhesize your own instruments you are for sure at the top of producers.
And there is so much space left to be more and more experienced and this so valuable about LMMS. It is like starting from a "Hello World" programm to creating own UI. It is a cool hobby and will gain more and more attraction with every new skill archieved.
