A demo / test of what can be done with Xpressive and an XY oscilloscope (vectorscope) to create visual oscilloscope music.
These mathematical expressions will only work under the old version of Xpressive in the Alpha (LMMS 1.3.0-alpha.1.102+g89fc6c960). Some instruments will therefore have no audio in other versions.
This was not intended to show off any musical skill (I put no effort in this case into getting it sounding good). This was rather to show how Xpressive can be used to create visual oscilloscope music with phase modulation and other methods.
There is a lot more to work on and these are early days! However, I already have text, 2D rotations and 3d object rotations.
Link an XY oscilloscope to channel 1 or master, to see the visuals. I am using the freeware SocaLabs XYScope, but any should do.
Don't use the built in vectorscope as it lacks line interpolation between sample points meaning that you will just see dots moving on the screen.
To get this less messy, I have yet to implement time domain multiplexing. I already have the idea for A1 to control each of 16 slots that it can slot into allowing 16 different timbres to play monophonically.
