Hi,

I wanted to know my limits..
1. Can I compose a melody without listening to it while composing.
2. What's the minimum time taken by me to compose an 8 bar melody with a blending bass track and a beat.

So, I challenged myself.. The rules were simple.. I had to compose the beat bass and melody without listening to them. One more thing.. it should sound good(to me at least). he he ;)
I chose the presets, muted the sound and started the timer.

I was just humming the melody in mind while placing the notes in piano editor. this is what I made in 1 Minute 53 seconds.. Then I listened to it. and it was OK. :D

Oops typing mistake.. I meant.. I enjoy making melodies without a beat.* And you can also start with the lyrics if you writing a rap. ;) Eminem always writes the lyrics first and then choses beat for that lyrics. :D Posted by: shashikant.bohat  on 2013-11-11 03:07:41
