Description:

Hello all of LMMS,

Happy New Year!

After 10 days of adding tracks taking away tracks, remixing and rematching, minor frustration, and finally, happily, success, I produced the final project. It took fifty-five revisions (that is, I saved fifty-five times so I wouldn't lose any revisions I wanted for the future)and grew into a 103 KB project (for me that is a lot ha ha :D). Well, here it is and I hope you enjoy!

I would also like to thank everyone in our lmms community for a super, amazing, awesome year of 2013! I am only humbly honored that I can bring in the New Year with this piece. Thank you everyone for your kind comments and all your ratings! I can't wait to see what kind of music 2014 holds that will come out of the creative minds of every composer here.

Thanks again!

Is that the longest songs ever been composed by LMMS? New Record! Your song has many parts and every part has many details with different melodies and something new. It's like an Story! I feel measures (65-93) (261-293) (305-321) are the best parts! Posted by: h2o  on 2013-12-30 02:52:41
@H2O I believe there was a song 1000 measures, but can't remember it. And, yes you are right, they are like a story. I love writing and listening to music that tells story. Glad you like it! Posted by: theguitarplayer  on 2013-12-30 03:27:02

This must have taken some time to put together! It seems pretty complex. Nice work as always! Posted by: Squatro  on 2013-12-30 09:59:54

Very good tune, but you need to pan instruments more to feel the depth of the song Posted by: Sti2nd  on 2013-12-31 13:13:51
@Sti-Jay (Sti2nd) do you mean automated panning or permanent? IMO, too much automated panning is distracting to listen to. But I can understand if I should have more tracks panned still always at the same percent. Now I know that all of this song is not dub step, but some of it is, and dub step is made up of beat not tune. I start my beat with drums. That may be why you think its freestyling. On the other hand, a little later into the song, it is only composed of bass and drums, and that was the purpose. Yes, I understand that the song was largely composed of drums. But that was the point of it. So now I'm a little confused. But thank you anyway for your tips. I will try to keep them in mind. Posted by: theguitarplayer  on 2013-12-31 13:53:38
