I just saw your question Dragonfbe that you post on one of my old projects. I started Working on LMMS about a year ago, I had no experience with music at that time. None at all. But I always made songs in my head about everyday since I was like 8 years old. I always paid attention to instruments on all the music I heard. I guess that is how I got a natural instinct on instrument quality (more like what fits with what). My first finished project was this one https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=show&file=8095 What I suggest to do is to hear your favorite type of music and pay close attention to the instruments. What I do for a better sound quality is to use Equalizers and reverb. Plus you're young! Learn right now and your skills will improve dramatically. But seeing this project and others you have a good understanding of audio. Keep practicing and try to search about mixing and audio understanding. Thanks for the comment by the way!
