after a while working on "Merde" I decided to stop making Frenchcore/Hardstyle with native samples. I started a new project where I used a sample pack by Transverze. I used the melody I made for "Merde", because I liked it. Now it's a nice hardstyle track in my opinion and not just "some earraping sounds", how @gdd71 would say.
I even made the effort to put all samples I used into a folder, so you can download it and listen to it, even remix it. But you can also visit my Soundcloud!
Again with reference to "the basics of digital audio"
Lower the level/Set lower levels! Not enough dynamics! Overload! -> Distorted noice sound!!
Hardstyle -> Is not equal to -> Distortsoundstyle!
normalize-audio -bv *.wav
Level for Improvisation.wav: -4,7564dBFS (0,0000dBFS peak)
Standard deviation is 0,00 dB
Average level: -4,7564dBFS
Applying adjustment of -7,24dB...
100% done, ETA 00:00:00 (batch 100% done, ETA 00:00:00)
... +1,5dB -> LMMS needs = +8,74dB Overload!
You have +8,74dB Overload here!!
All the best :)Posted by: gdd71 on 2017-07-07 08:54:20
@gdd71 calm down bro. I don't exactly what's your job here at LSP, but it seems like you are only going around here criticizing every project. Posted by: vespertine on 2017-07-07 09:47:10
I'm calm :) and give you good info to help you improve your work!
However, what I am telling you in this case is a basic principle, standard and law, which should not be violated!
Go to learn the basics in audio production and do not take my words like nagging! :):)
