As experiment I have changed quickly the bass line (mostly removed some notes).
See comments in original project.
I will remove the project after some days.

Interesting thing that the bass only can completely change the nature of composition.
I do not mean it is better, perhaps now it remain to much on disco or dance music but anyway an option.

Thank you very much for good feedback and remix.. Really the main impact / feeling is quite different.. I like it :) My variant is more "psycho trance??", yours variant as you have described. This gives me the idea of a third variant.. Something average between these two :) If you want, you do not have to delete it.. Different variants and examples are interesting.
