I'm getting a better understanding of lmms but still have a ways to go. Unfortunately I still can't listen to anyone's stuff here. Been trying to figure out; however, I am still at a loss. Help?-Thanks

I explained it in your "starbirth" Song. Please have a Look at it. If you need more Instructions, let me know and i'll try to explain. If you need Advice on how to make good Song's, please have a Look at , Thanks. SOundful Greetings, Ingo :)Posted by: Jivatma07 on 2011-05-10 13:35:38
Thanks for the help. I actually tried playing around with the audiofileprocessor a little bit. There's a lot going on there so it's going to take a while. Good to know I need to use it to import audio though. I tried to use some old audio of JFK giving his "secret society speech" (if you have ever heard it?), but was having problems. I'll give it a shot. And thanks for the info on downloading mmp(z). Just listening to the songs on here is cool, but I want to be ale to see what all of you did. Again, thank for the help (and the link).

Ingo, I just tried opening mmp(z) files like you said and it worked; awesome, awesome, awesome. I'm going to spend like the next 5 hours listening to a bunch of stuff! Thank you.Posted by: matthewz on 2011-05-11 14:03:01
Hey, Hello Matthew, i'm glad, that it worked with opening mmp(z) files now. Well, to get better and better in making Music, you can - at your current Beginner-Stage - try to copy your favourite Musicians. There is nothing wrong with that, because you can learn a lot from them. After you did that, you can slowly try to create your own Songs, with your own Drums, Bassline, Chords and Melody, etc. Yes, i know about secret societies and what they call Conspiracy Theory. If you want to chat with me and other LMMS Users, you can try IRC using e. g. XChat on Ubuntu. Just go to the Server "" (Freenode) and the Channel is #lmms . Or you can write me an eMail at , so that i can share my Composing Knowledge (Making Music) with you. See you, IngoPosted by: Jivatma07 on 2011-05-11 15:10:21
