*For Xpressive Instrument Plugin (LMMS Alpha)

The piano now contains 3 expressions for waveforms for octaves 4, 5, and 6 based on Fourier analysis of a piano. I thought I would upload this because, although it is not sounding 100% yet, I have noticed that there is no documentation or examples of how to map a different expression to each octave in Xpressive.

Although the number of waveforms is limited to three by using W1, W2, and W3, I believe that a large expression within O1 and O2 could increase the number of waveforms.

Comments:
cannot say that it sounds exceptional but in the mix with other Instruments is really a interesting new path. I added some FX and LFO to make it more interesting, it has an new unconventional way of defining the sound, great tool. Posted by: mpxvm  on 2025-04-26 07:44:01
