OK, well here's number three. I finally figured out what the automation editor does (thanks youtube)... I also found a really interesting instrument. My son calls it evil, I just call it Talking Voices. I’m not sure where I found it…
Some more grandiose stuff...

Also, a lot of the instruments I like, I can't adjust the sustain or release...

How can you draw a straight line in the automation editor? I've always done it just
by moving the mouse.

...click on the starting point of your volume change. Move the curser to ending point, push the shift key and click. :)

guys, to solve all the confusion that is going on: people are NOT leaving blank comments. But they ARE leaving comments with strange fonts. LMMS is kind of sensitive in this area.
